Hello Golf Junkys,

 

Another Monday qualifier and another missed opportunity.  That Chris Kamin has a heart of gold,

and determination that rivals any player in the world.  Two weeks ago he lost in a playoff to some

knucklehead who luckily holed out from the fairway on the first hole of  sudden death.

 

This week Chris didn't get into a playoff, but after making a double on the front nine, managed to birdie

the first two holes on the back nine.  The term 'bounce back' is a key stat for any golfer, including Am's

and Pros.  Industry Hills 'Ike' course doesn't play easy and is a good test of golf even for the pros.  There

were alot of big names trying to quality for the Northern Trust Open... formerly known as the Los Angeles

Open at Riviera Country Club. Last year 68 played off and this year was no different, with the exception

of no rain.  We still had some damp areas on the course, but certainly no torrential rains like last year.

 

Well our next stop is Pebble, and that's always a fun format.  I'm looking forward to the Monterrey Bay

area.  Fond memories seem to always come back to me, and the scenery is second to none.  I'll keep
