Default Old School TaylorMade Tour Cleek......modern day hybrid?????

I saw this in a bin, recently and have been looking sort of half-heartedly for a new hybrid, LOL. She is 16* and old school.......like me.
It was decently clean and just needed a little TLC and some make-up.
It is ten times better looking in person. It may not make my bag as my daughter caught sight of it and is diggin' Dad's work.
The price we pay, eh?
Also, the yellow was an effort to match a "Blue Thunder" shaft I have loose in the garage. I got the yellow out and it just seemed so...............well..................so......... ....yellow. I added a splash of Brite-Azz Brass to the mix and the sunlight dances off this rascal like nobody's business.
What is next for LaMont? Knickers? I think not.
Let the opinions fly,
LaMont in AZ

PuddyTat,
Thanks for those kind words. It was with a lot of pushing and prodding that I opened my mind to the wonderful world of colors. My brother was begging me to do some funky stuff and I was all about flat black and such, for a long time.
Now, I just finished a couple of long drive heads for KRANK that are going to one of their customers. They turned out pretty well, but I have some learning to do, for sure. As I type this post, though, there is another 7.5* Krank RAGE in the curing oven getting the base color locked in. She is headed to Mesquite this weekend for the competition and will definitely draw some looks. Colors are sort of top secret, but if it turns out as sweet as I think it will, you'll see plenty of it on the KRANK site.
I'll post some pics if it goes the way I hope.
Thanks again for the compliments. They never get old, LOL.

Cool Colors

After seeing all your designs I feel that colors truely have a place in golf, hell look at some of the clothing being worn on the various tours........
Lamont I really like the Adams Wedges, hope the testing goes well.

Jason,
I do this work out of my MannKrafted GolfWorks shop, here in AZ.
I'd love to help you get that pair of TM's looking like a million bucks. Fire me an email at lamont@mannkrafted.com and I'll put together a plan.
Thanks for the confidence in my work,
LaMont in AZ

PS, I just noticed that sweet set of Orlimar blades in your bag. Very nice equipment at that time from Jesse. I have an older lob wedge that is stamped "HANDMADE" from his father. Not positive exactly where it is, but it hasn't left my shop................I don't think, ;-)

Lamont, what paint and process do you use to pull all these off? I tried to make my hybrid Nickent a different color and I failed big time lol.

Brad,
I have had far more failures with woods and hybrids that I have had successes. I use a heat cured polymer that was developed for military applications on weapons, primarily. I hesitate to give out names, as it is sort of a trade secret, .
I know that it is used by at least one large OEM, though.
Let me know what you are aiming for and maybe I can point you in the right direction.
Thanks,
LaMont in AZ
